We have both low tech & high tech solutions for people requiring symbol or text based communication. Our Mind Express communication vocabulary building software just gets better, buttons can be set up with rounded corners & coloured borders. Pages can have indicators to denote their function. Users also have optional access to text messaging, email & web cam whether it’s via touch screen or switch access. The only limit you’ll find to Mind Express is your own imagination.....
In addition to the Tellus 3+ & the Allora we have recently introduced the Tellus Mobi & Tellus Smart to our range.
The Mobi has the option to allow users mobile phone functionality via a SIM card slot in the Mobi. Just insert a SIM card & keeping in touch with friend & family just got a whole lot easier. This is a revolutionary feature which gives you independence & security in the knowledge that you are always contactable by friends & relatives. We think this is one of the most innovative products on the market today.
The Tellus Smart is an extremely lightweight & portable handheld AAC device appearing more like a PDA than a speech aid, the Smart looks fantastic & performs equally well. The Smart can be used by an ambulant user as their sole communication aid or by a user of a larger device who wants a small device when they’re in a social setting for quick messaging.
It’s our intention to see that you will succeed with your chosen device & software combination. This success usually starts with us assisting communication aid centres & individual Salt’s with support for our products to assist them with assessments & programming of vocabularies. In some cases we are able to loan equipment to facilitate the assessment process. Once a solution has been selected we can offer training to help facilitators & users get the best out of the equipment. The last thing we want is to see you struggle, so we offer telephone support during normal office hours for your peace of mind.
