Some of our customers have taken the decision not to opt for a fully specified communication aid, but instead select an off the shelf laptop. The main issues with laptops are durability, accessibility & audible output.

The CF-19 overcomes these weaknesses by being reliable, ruggedized & very audible. Accessibility can be via the touchscreen, mouse or switches using a USB switch interface such as our Woodpecker. The CF-19 has a robust & dustproof two dimensional hinge allowing it to be used in conventional laptop format or as a tablet device.

The hard disc drive is enclosed in a damper that sits inside an aluminium case providing outstanding shock absorption. It is wheelchair mountable using an optional Daessy mounting plate.
