The Tellus 3+ is a Fujitsu tablet computer that has been adapted to create a very robust, wheelchair mountable dynamic screen communication aid.

Using the integrated Bluetooth module, a suitable mobile phone and the Mind Express™ SMS module, the Tellus 3+ can be used to send and receive text messages.
Bluetooth can also be used to enable wireless printing from the Tellus 3+.

Battery Life...

The internal battery lasts for 3½ hours. This can be extended by the use of an External battery. This will give 8 hours continuous use including the 3½ hours of the Tellus 3+ battery. The battery can be slotted into a special mounting plate on the back of the Tellus 3+. Instead of the external battery an optional wheelchair power cable can be used to run the Tellus 3+ from the batteries in an electric wheelchair.
